- Where is Sauna Hut located?
- Sauna Hut is at 6847 Oswego Pl. NE, Green Lake, Seattle, WA 98115. Street parking is available on Oswego Pl. NE and nearby residential streets.
- Who is Sauna Hut for?
- Sauna Hut is a therapeutic wellness studio for adults in greater Seattle who want non-invasive support for recovery, pain relief, and overall well-being—not a generic spa visit. Our services are dual-purpose: they support general health and personal wellness, and may also serve a legitimate medical purpose when used to treat or manage a diagnosed condition. When used for that medical purpose, infrared sauna, clinical massage, and red light therapy are HSA/FSA eligible with a letter of medical necessity from your clinician. General wellness use doesn't qualify. Typical guests include busy professionals, athletes and active individuals, adults seeking recovery and pain support, and health-conscious people choosing therapeutic wellness over spa-style relaxation.
- Can I use my HSA or FSA for Sauna Hut services?
- Yes, with a letter of medical necessity. Full-spectrum infrared sauna, clinical massage therapy, and red light therapy are dual-purpose services: they support general wellness and may serve a legitimate medical purpose when treating or managing a diagnosed condition. For that medical use, they're HSA/FSA eligible with a letter of medical necessity from your clinician; general wellness use doesn't qualify. HSA and FSA cards can be used at checkout for eligible services. A letter of medical necessity from your clinician is required, and your plan or card issuer makes the final call—confirm with your benefits administrator. We provide itemized receipts; we don't issue letters of medical necessity.
- Need an itemized receipt for insurance reimbursement?
- Text us at (206) 222-8856 or reply by SMS — we can prepare a detailed itemized receipt for insurance reimbursement. We do not issue letters of medical necessity; ask your clinician or benefits plan for that.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Massage requires 24-hour notice; infrared sauna, couples sauna and red light therapy require 12-hour notice. Late cancellations are charged the full session price. Appointments not cancelled before the cancellation window will be charged the full session price.
- Do memberships renew automatically?
- Monthly memberships bill on the 1st of each month and renew automatically until you cancel. Sauna, couples and red light memberships run on calendar months: if you join mid-month, your first charge covers only the days left in that month (including the day you join), then the full price is charged on the 1st. If you join in the last 2 days of a month, your first charge covers those days plus all of the next month in one payment, and your next charge is on the 1st after that (for example, join Oct 30 and you pay for Oct 30–31 plus November, then next on Dec 1). Massage memberships charge the full price when you join and include 1 massage credit you can use right away; after that you're billed on the 1st of each month with a new credit. Each massage credit is good for 2 months from when it's issued. This is the same if you join a massage membership in the last days of a month: for example, join Oct 30 and you pay the full price that day for a credit good for 2 months, then the full price again on Nov 1 with a new credit. The first full month is required: you can cancel any time, but a cancellation takes effect after your first full month. After that, cancelling stops future billing at the end of the month you've paid for. If your receipt has a manage link, cancel online with it. Memberships still billed through Mindbody cancel by calling or texting (206) 222-8856. The Unlimited 2-Week Sauna Membership and 2-Week Protocol Trial are one-time purchases and don't renew. Packages expire 12 months after purchase. Single sessions bought in advance expire 365 days after purchase.
- How do I get into Sauna Hut?
- A front-door entry code is texted to you before your appointment. If we don't have your mobile number, contact us so we can send your code. A $25 fee applies if the business door is not locked upon entry or exit.
- Is Sauna Hut staffed during my visit?
- We're a self-serve spa with no front desk staff. Infrared sauna and red light therapy private suites are fully self-service—the only person on site is your massage therapist during their scheduled session. When you finish in a private infrared sauna or red light suite, leave the suite door open so the next guest knows the room is available. After your sauna session, reset the suite for the next guest: set the timer back to the maximum (4 hours) and turn the temperature back up to 170°F. Lowering the heat during your session is fine—just restore both settings before you leave.
- How do I book a session?
- Book online on our booking page. Session lengths: sauna 30 or 60 min; massage 30, 60, or 90 min; red light up to 20 min. Kameel also offers 45-min Intra Oral Therapy and 30-min Manual Lymphatic Drainage. We recommend booking sauna sessions in advance as slots are limited. Questions? Call or text (206) 222-8856.
