Red Light Therapy: What Falyn Recommends for Skin Recovery

Red light therapy—also called photobiomodulation—uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to stimulate cellular energy production. At Sauna Hut, our red light therapy bed delivers full-body exposure in a single session.

Falyn, our Lead Esthetician, recommends starting with sessions of up to 20 minutes twice weekly for four weeks when addressing skin concerns like fine lines, uneven tone, or post-inflammatory marks.

The science is compelling: red light in the 630–660nm range supports collagen synthesis, while near-infrared (810–850nm) penetrates deeper for inflammation reduction.

For best results, Falyn suggests pairing red light with proper hydration and gentle skincare. Avoid retinoids on treatment days, and keep your eyes closed during sessions—bring your own eyewear for comfort if you like.
